After the congress

From the 21st. until the 28th.of July the Cave Lighting team was available at a stand specially designed for the congress to answer questions and to present the latest Cave Lighting technology, such as:

On August 23rd. the Cave Lighting team gave a presentation entitled "Cave Lighting Project. Theory and practice of the development and maintenance of modern subterranean tourist attractions. A Speleologist’s point of view" which was well received by both visitors and trade professionals. A great part of the audience was delighted with the content of the presentation as well as with its adept delivery resulting in much acclaim for the Cave Lighting team.

Of course, along with the exchange of information with show cave operators, speleologists and researchers, the development of future worldwide show cave projects took priority. Here we were able to pass on the experience we have gained over the last eight years and also discuss further aspects. New contacts were made and further communication encouraged.

During the congress the possibility of viewing one of our reference objects, the Balcarka Jeskyne in Ostrov, was offered. Although unfortunately not part of the official programme the cave was nevertheless visited by many of the participants. The installation in Balcarka has been running impeccably since summer 2009, a fact that is important to us and one that we can be proud of.

The Cave Lighting team was also successful in the sporting events. Lubov Chrapko won two competitions in the Speleo-Olympics and was ceremoniously honoured.

The Cave Lighting team wishes to thank the organisers, customers and all others that made our participation at the UIS Congress 2013 in Brno a memorable occasion.
